Full Length Floral

It's no secret that I've been loving floral patterns this season...in fact, you've already seen me in a thrifted floral skirt and floral shorts.  Well, here's another one for you...the floral maxi skirt:
Audrey 3+1 skirt - FC ($10)
American Eagle cami (old) - gifted from mom
Vintage belt - thrifted, Bargain Box ($2)
Vintage Bags by Supreme clutch - FC ($10)
Charlotte Russe "flatforms" - FC ($8)
Chain-link necklace - FC at MJ ($3)

I absolutely love this skirt!  You can't tell from the pictures but it is sheer enough that I have to wear a slip under it and it is slightly asymmetrical (higher on the sides, longer in front and back).  Also, it blows so beautifully in the wind that I feel like a 70s glamour queen!

We saw a lot of 70s-inspired sheer, flowy, floral maxi skirts and dresses on the 2011 RTW runway, here are my favorites:

the many floral maxis of D&G, via style.com
Alberta Ferretti via style.com

I spent around $35 on this entire outfit so here are some full length floral options for the same price:

I am sad to say that this is my last photo that my sister took of me.  FYI: most of the really good quality photos are photos my sister took, the rest are taken by my friends/coworkers and/or myself...you can usually tell the difference.  Unfortunately this is the last of Chandler's work (at least for a little while) because she's headed back to college next week.  But this was one of my favorites!  And thanks, Chan-you're the best!!!

What do you think of floral maxis?  Is it too much print for you or can you never get enough?  Will you continue to rock floral into the Fall?  Or retire it until next Spring?

And PS I'm linking this look up to Spunky Chateau's Thursdays are for Thrifters link-up!  Check out all the awesome thrifted finds everyone is posting!

I love that skirt! So cute. I haven't purchased a maxi skirt in ages, I should probably find one! The one I have from years ago isn't nearly as cute as that! It looks super comfy too.

This skirt is amazing. I like how the maxi trend looks on everyone, but all the one's that I find are always so heavy, something that moves and flows is exactly what I want!
