As soon as I saw this southwestern-inspired collection of Ralph Lauren, I loved it! First of all, I love anything southwestern. But mostly, I love the unexpected combination of fancy and casual for a variety of reasons: it expands your wardrobe by letting you think outside the box, you get to wear those "special occasion" pieces, and it makes for an eye-catching combination.
About my outfit: I didn't have the exact pieces in the picture above so I just used it as inspiration. I chose my fancy pleated skirt and anchored it down with my new denim
