How to Pack for a Trip: Part 2

This is what I wore the second day of my trip home to Greensboro:
Free People skirt - FC ($14)
F21 t-shirt - FC ($5)
Soho Lab wedges - FC ($10)
Vintage Dooney & Bourke purse - FC ($40)
Vintage belt - thrifted, BB ($2)
Vintage personal jewelry - see here

I drew from my neutral accessories and brought with me a monochromatic brown look.  You can't tell in the pictures but the shirt is actually pale pink (not white) and it looks so pretty next to browns, tans, and chocolate.  I really love this purse and shoes (as you might have noticed) because they truly match and complement everything!

So, for this trip, I chose to plan my outfits around my neutral purse and wedges.  I stuck to the same simple gold jewelry and let the top and skirt stand out as statement pieces in my outfits.  It wasn't a long trip but since I didn't have an extra pair of shoes or purse in my bag I was able to fill the extra room with goodies Mom and I found at the thrift stores (photos to come!).  If you missed Part 1, click the link to see what I wore the first day!

So what do you wear during a trip?

This is a great neutral outfit! Your purse is absolutely fantastic.

We also try to pack neutral clothes for mixing and matching, and then adding colorful accessories!

Very cute combo! I keep my outfits simple and comfy on trips, but I always make sure to add a cute bag/shoes/scarf so I feel a little spunkier. :)

I always find it really hard to pack for trips but this outfit is the perfect example- stylish, comfortable and chic! I love the neutral accessories and that bag is gorgeous!
