Waiting for Fall and My First Guest Post!

I'm so excited to announce that I'm being featured on J's Everyday Fashion today while she is away on vacation.  This is my first guest post and a very exciting one as her blog is one of my daily reads.  She shows the everyday woman how to put outfits together based on "inspiration" photos.  Check out my post and J's blog here!  And, in case you missed it, here is the original post it came from with lots more pictures :)


But for today I still wanted to share something new!  All the stores are ready for Fall as are other bloggers and fashionistas around the world.  Well...it's still hot and humid here in southeastern NC...

What better to wear when the weather outside is hot and muggy than a summer dress!  I can't wait for Fall because I looove to layer but while the weather is still so humid layering is out of the question.  That's when you pull out your cutest dress and work with accessories.  These boots match the embroidery on the dress to a T and help to slowly transition my wardrobe from Summer to Fall, the purse was my Mom's in the 70s, and I tied the whole look together with multicolor friendship bracelets.
